Within hospitals and healthcare institutions, patients must be tethered or repeatedly connected to monitoring equipment, necessitating extensive, costly and ongoing involvement by medical personnel, and this requirement becomes even more challenging after discharge or transfer to care facilities or the home.
No efficient solutions are available for monitoring in an accurate, discreet, and contactless manner. In addition, justifiable privacy concerns among health providers and users are raised, as data and health information are vulnerable to exploitation and manipulation by third parties.

Remote patient monitoring (RPM) is allowing healthcare to become efficient, less time consuming and, most importantly, discreet, private, and contactless. THE NETEERA MICROSENSOR
Neteera is developing a disruptive solution which combines unprecedented sensing capabilities, data collection, AI-based analysis, and empowerment for caregivers: A unique microsensor, consisting of radar-on-chip and proprietary algorithms.
The compact device (6 x 8.2 cm) operates at very high frequency (116 GHz-123 GHz) and senses micro-skin displacements through clothing and from a distance. These are then interpreted into vital signs and other behavioural indicators by our algorithm and serve to assess the subject’s physiological status. The microsensor can be used while the patient is in a sitting, standing, or lying position.
Data is uploaded to Neteera’s HIPAA and GDPR-compliant cloud to be accessed through any computer, tablet, or mobile device by the caregiver enabling further analysis. Data is viewed continuously for a more supervised approach, or at intervals for spot-checking the patient.
Our technology is non-vision based (no cameras) and we ensure that all information obtained is completely anonymized, thereby providing ultimate privacy.
The Neteera microsensor can function as a stand-alone solution, through a wi-fi network or directly connected to a display screen. In upcoming versions, the Neteera system will also enable integration within existing platforms, medical equipment, or screening devices.
