WHAT PROBLEM DOES
DESICOACH® SOLVE?
Even experienced professionals make mistakes when disinfecting their hands.
Thus, pathogens remain on the hands, are transmitted, and people can become ill.
DesiCoach® makes every mistake visible during training so that they can be avoided in everyday life.
With an individually trained rub-in technique, you can protect yourself and the people around you – at work and at home.
This is how it works
Dose Correctly
In order to achieve the declared effectiveness of disinfectants, the hands must usually be wet for at least 30 seconds.
How do you achieve this? by ensuring the correct amount of disinfectant is being applied to the hands .
Rub and fill the blanks
Disinfect your hands exactly as you normally would.
DesiCoach® is very pale in colour when applied, so you can‘t easily tell the areas that are being missed.
Wait for colour development
Let the Heyfair magic work. :-) After about one minute you can evaluate the disinfection.
Check effectiveness
We use a colour chart. On intensive coloured skin areas, the declared effectiveness was achieved –therefore enough liquid was applied to keep the skin moist for about 30s. On pale skin areas, too little or no disinfectant was applied. The germ reduction is therefore probably lower than stated by the manufacturer.
Dosing like your colouring
Now the decolouriser comes into play – as you don‘t want your hands to stay pink.
Use about the same amount as in the first step – even if you used too little at the beginning.
Rub in and fill the blanks
The dye will now decolourize immediately - so you will see for the first-time what wetting can achieve by your respective hand movements.
Think about how you can adjust your hand movements to wet your hands completely in even less time.
Check the result
After decolourizing, you can see perfectly which areas of the skin need special attention: Nail folds, skin furrows, dry skin areas are more difficult to disinfect and areas with a high bacterial density. If you find colour residue, this is a good indication that not enough disinfectant has reached the area.
Repetition
If you have noticed rough mistakes, you should repeat the training directly afterwards. You will quickly achieve a rub-in technique that is optimal for you. After about a week of practicing your new rub-in technique, you should repeat the training once again. This way you can ensure consistency and that no new mistakes occur

100% NATURAL DYES
Out of conviction, we do not use artificial colourants. DesiCoach® is based on 100% plant extracts. The naturally obtained dye is found in blackberries, raspberries and cherries, for example. There are no intolerances to this natural substance.
In order to achieve comparable properties to your preferred disinfectant DesiCoach® is based on similar ingredients: Alcohol, water and moisturizer agents.
Safety, usability and skin compatibility of DesiCoach® has been tested and confirmed by several independent institutes.

HAND DISINFECTION: STATUS QUO
CURRENTLY, MOST HAND DISINFECTIONS HAVE FLAWS
Studies show that even when test candidates put a lot of effort into proper hand disinfection techniques and rub for more than 30s, more than 1 in 2 hand disinfections has flaws – if no training has been done beforehand.
Moreover, it’s very common that not enough disinfectant is used when sanitizing hands: on average, only 1.7ml is used instead of the recommended 3ml.
Systematic training creates awareness of the problem and brings about changes in behaviour that positively influence not only the quality but also the regularity (compliance) of hand disinfection.

REGULAR TRAINING
INCREASES COMPLIANCE.
Observational studies have shown that the relative frequency of hand disinfection increases significantly after training. Simple psychological effects are presumed to be behind this:
01 - The training brings hand hygiene more into focus of our perception. As a result, we remember necessary hand disinfections more easily.
02 - The training emphasizes very concisely the enormous importance of hand hygiene for infection protection, prevention and control. The implicit message: “Trainings are regularly scheduled to ensure perfect hand disinfection. In my establishment hand hygiene is extremely important!“
A simple training thus ensures that we remember necessary disinfections more often. At the same time, we feel a greater necessity to actually perform the hygiene techniques correctly. All in all, the training increases the motivation for regular and proper disinfection tremendously.
ANNUAL HYGIENE TRAINING IN THE HEALTH CARE SECTOR
Since the positive effects of hygiene training are scientifically well proven, the Robert Koch-Institute recommends that the entire staff receive practical training in the correct performance of hand disinfection at least once a year
TRAIN EFFICIENTLY
TRAINING IN GROUPS
Because DesiCoach® works completely without technical accessories, it opens new and time-saving possibilities for hygiene training.
Here‘s how it works:
At the end of your annual hygiene training, you divide your audience into groups of 3-5 people. These individuals carry out the training under your guidance – all at the same time.
You can quickly, comprehensively and most importantly, visually explain what really matters in hand disinfection while it is directly put into practice.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to compare their results in a friendly competition and to work out an optimal disinfection technique together.
The group training thus allows you to train an entire course with numerous people in just a few minutes, which can easily take several hours with other training methods.
TRAIN EFFICIENTLY
TRAINING 2GO WITH REMOTE DIGITAL EVALUATION
As much wonderful group training is, it also has two significant disadvantages:
01 - It is not always possible to gather many people in one room.
02 - You get limited insight into your colleague‘s disinfection practice, unless you work with them directly.
We solve both of these problems with DesiCoach® 2Go, our hygiene training in 5ml to-go packs. On the next page we will explain exactly how it works.
TRAIN EFFICIENTLY
SET UP A TRAINING
First you create a new training session in your Heyfair account. This will tell us which teams and how many people should be trained.
For each person we will produce a training ticket and send it to you.
Of course, all personal data is handled discreetly, according to strict data protection guidelines.
DISTRIBUTE TRAINING
Distribute the training tickets to your previously created teams.
One ticket contains the access to the digital manual and one DesiCoach® training-set (2 x 5ml).
In order to motivate the individual teams, an internal competition can be initiated, e.g. which team completes the training first..
TRAIN
Your teams now independently train to disinfect their hands using a browser-based app (mobile & desktop).
The results of the training are entered into the app. If necessary, tips for improving the disinfection technique are displayed.
EVALUATE
In your customer account you will find out how many training sessions have already been performed and what results have been achieved.
You can evaluate and download the training and use the results to improve future hygiene trainings.
