When it comes to air quality, not all air purification systems are created equally. With CASPR air and surface purification devices, you can breathe easier knowing that you’re being provided air filtration that goes beyond surface level benefits.

Air filtration systems are designed to remove pollutants and irritants from the air, thereby improving indoor air quality (IAQ). Improved IAQ can offer numerous benefits, including improved sleep, immune function, and a reduction in allergy related health symptoms. The problem is, not all air filtration systems are created equal. In this article we’ll explore how and why our CASPR air and surface purification units go beyond basic air purification by directly targeting harmful pathogens in a continuous, passive manner.

CASPR is more than just air purification—it’s air disinfection. If you want to breathe easier, read on to learn a little bit more about this incredible technology.

Meet: CASPR

First thing’s first, CASPR stands for Continuous Air and Surface Pathogen Reduction.

CASPR technology is a continuous solution that uses molecular-level hydrogen peroxide and other oxidative molecules to consistently minimize airborne and surface yeast and mold spores. CASPR uses a natural technology that mimics Earth’s own atmosphere. Just like our atmosphere, CASPR converts moisture in the air (H₂O) and oxygen in the air (O₂) into very low, yet highly effective, levels of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂)—such low levels, in fact, that CASPR’s disinfection technology generates pathogen-killing hydrogen peroxide at levels 100x below OSHA and NOISH maximum standards. This hydrogen peroxide is then continuously distributed throughout the air to interact with the air itself as well as any surfaces the molecules land on.

Keeping You Safe, One Molecule at A Time

CASPR technology keeps you safe by using ambient air to create active molecules, including hydrogen peroxide. These molecules circulate the targeted area, and land on all surfaces providing continuous micro-burden reductions.

Impressively, CASPR is up to 99.96% effective against molds, bacteria, and viruses, and has the added benefit of reducing odours and VOCs. Once pathogens are neutralized at the cellular level, the oxidizing molecules created by CASPR then revert back to their original state, which is simply hydrogen and oxygen.

CASPR Provides Many Benefits

Targets Viruses to Continuously Keep You Safe

CASPR offers unique technology that differs from traditional HEPA filters. It eliminates not only dust and allergens, but also bacteria, viruses, and other harmful pollutants. CASPR technology has been proven to kill MRSA as well as other ESKAPE Pathogens: Enterococus Facium (VRE), Klebsiella Pneumonia, Acinetobactor Baumonii, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, and Enterobacter species. It also kills C-Diff, Aspergillas Niger, and Candida Albicans. This means that CASPR not only provides cleaner air, but also cleaner surfaces!

Low Maintenance & Cost Effective

CASPR air purification devices are user-friendly and low-maintenance. Unlike traditional air purifiers, which need filter changes every few months, CASPR devices can last for years without filter changes. This means that you can save money in the long run by avoiding the need for frequent filter changes and maintenance that traditional air purification systems require.

Portable

We offer CASPR products in a range of portable formats that are perfect for use in a variety of settings.

The CASPR Compact device requires no installation—just a power outlet—and can be moved from one location to another with ease. This makes them ideal for portable use in shared spaces or in areas where air quality can be a concern.

The CASPR Personal device is a wearable device that creates more than 7 million charged ions using friction. These ions attach to airborne particles, making them too heavy to stay in the air. Heavier particles fall to the floor more readily with the force of gravity, which means you don't breathe them in!

Despite their small size, CASPR’s portable devices are highly effective at reducing airborne pathogens and pollutants. The CASPR Compact, for example, uses the same advanced technology as CASPR’s larger units, and both are able to continuously target harmful pathogens.

Quiet

One of the benefits of CASPR devices is their quiet operation. Unlike traditional air purifiers, which can be noisy and disruptive, CASPR devices are engineered to produce minimal noise. This makes them ideal for use in homes, offices, and other settings where noise pollution is a concern.
